River Road Medical Centre is a teaching facility. We often have medical students and residents working alongside our Physicians and Physician Asisstant.
Our Physicians are NOT accepting new patients and we are NOT a walk in clinic.

Upcoming Clinic Closures
The clinic will be closed for Thanksgiving on Monday October 12th. The office will resume regular hours on Tuesday October 13th. We wish you all a safe and Happy Thanksgiving!
Friday/Saturday After Hours Holiday Coverage
Our clinic is affiliated with other Family Health Organizations in the Community to provide our patients access to after hours care on Friday evenings and Saturdays for acute conditions (ex: sore throat, cough, UTI, pink eye, etc.). Please call our office on Friday mornings to access the information for the Dr on call for the weekend.
In order to access these services - on Fridays, please call the on call Physicians office after 4 PM (please do NOT call the office before 4 PM on that day). On Saturdays, please call the on call Physicians office at 9 AM (please do NOT call the office before 9 AM that day). Appointments are subject to availability. When you contact the office, please let them know you are a patient of Dr. Ashikian/Dr. O'Neill.
The Dr on call for Friday October 16th and Saturday October 17th is Dr. Saad Abbud at 10-2900 Woddroffe Ave - phone: 613-440-3600.
Flu Shots:
Our clinic is expected to receive flu shots around mid to end of October, depending on Ottawa Public Health's availability.
When you arrive for your appointment, please notify the front desk that you are interested in the flu shot and if we have it in stock, your Doctor can provide it for you at your appointment (please note, we are not scheduling appointments for the flu shots, however, we will make exceptions for children under the age of 1).
Since flu shots are subject to availability, we cannot guarantee that we will have the flu shot at your upcoming appointment. If our office does not have the flu shot during your appointment, please contact a local pharmacy as many pharmacies have more stock of the flu shots.
RSV Vaccine for 75+ Patients:
Our clinic is now offering the RSV vaccine (Arexvy) for seniors 75+ who have never received the RSV vaccine before - this vaccine is covered by OHIP. If you are interested in having this vaccine administered, please call the office at 613-822-8200 to schedule an appointment.
